I’m not sure if you saw my steak pizza post, but I have been CRAVING it in the worst way lately. The combination of the steak, peppers, and onions (think fajitas minus the sogginess) is perfection, and the crusty, cheesy pizza adds the perfect textural component and basic (as in pH) flavor to compliment and counteract any powerful flavors from the peppers and onions. The pizza needed no improvement, but with the summer upon us, I’m trying to maximize the times when I’m looking for flavor or a grindy meal. The two are so different and I think it’s beneficial to dissect which is which when you’re experiencing a craving. So if you’re craving those flavors, but not as much grease, this is your meal! You still get the “pizza” with the croutons, just not as much of it.
