A really good beignet or hot donut might be at the top of my favorite sweets list. I love a funnel cake, churro, or most other fried dough, so donuts are no exception. When we go to our local donut store and they’re hot, I can’t resist them. When they’re not hot, I don’t touch them. I’m sure there are ways to improve upon this recipe (and I will always update recipes as I find those improvements), but they don’t need much.
Tips/Tricks: These also work well with a glaze. If you make something similar to my waffle bite glaze, it will stick more easily to the donuts because the white chocolate hardens as it cools.
